This is a major milestone for our team and for the customers who trust us with their vehicle imports. Our in-house test lane brings vehicle preparation, workshop support and Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) testing together in one place.
IVA tests are conducted by DVSA examiners at our facility. Our technicians prepare and present your vehicle for inspection, with our workshop alongside the lane to support any work it needs. For cars already with us for preparation, that removes the extra journey to a separate IVA test centre.
Short lead times to keep your import moving
Waiting for a test can be a frustrating part of importing a car. We are now offering short lead times for IVA testing at our Milton Keynes facility, helping you plan the next stage of your import with less waiting around.
Having the workshop and test lane on the same site also makes it easier to coordinate preparation and testing. Our qualified IVA technicians can assist with minor modifications during testing, and we can arrange further work and retest support where required.

Already have an IVA application or booking elsewhere? Call 01908 887917 so we can help move it to our Vehicle Examination Facility. Our Managed IVA Service includes unlimited test slot movements, giving you flexibility if your plans change, subject to available appointments.

If you already have an IVA test booked and would like an earlier appointment, try our IVA Test Cancellation Checker. Join the cancellation list with your contact and current booking details, and we can let you know about available slots at ShipMyCar Milton Keynes.
Cancellations can open up dates as soon as the same week. When a slot becomes available, we will email you the date and ask whether you would like us to secure it. Joining the list does not automatically change your existing booking, and earlier dates depend on availability.
