For an existing IVA application or test booking that you will move to Milton Keynes yourself.

Application or booking: You must call DVSA on 0300 200 1188 to move your application or test booking to our Milton Keynes facility.
IVA test fee: ShipMyCar does not charge an additional £199 test fee for your existing application or booking.
Vehicle preparation: For a vehicle that does not need separately quoted workshop modifications.

Fully Managed IVA Service

Let us manage the transfer of your existing application or booking, complete your IVA application, or both.

Application or booking: We arrange the move to our Milton Keynes test facility and/or complete an IVA application for you.
IVA test fee: Add £199 for a new application. No additional ShipMyCar test fee if you already have an application or booking.
Vehicle preparation: For a vehicle that does not need separately quoted workshop modifications.

Preparation and testing

IVA with Workshop Modifications

+ VAT, plus itemised modifications

Combine either IVA service with the preparation your vehicle needs before its test.

Application or booking: £100 + VAT if you arrange the DVSA transfer, or £200 + VAT if we manage the transfer and/or application.
IVA test fee: Add £199 for a new application. No additional ShipMyCar test fee if you already have an application or booking.
Vehicle preparation: We quote for the required modifications, schedule your vehicle into our workshop and coordinate the IVA test with the work.

Moving an existing test? DVSA will refund the £199 test fee and recharge £199 to move it. This is an administrative transfer with no additional test cost. ShipMyCar will not charge a second £199 test fee.

Prefer to handle it yourself?

Present your own vehicle at our IVA test lane.
